Winter Food Program for Students (Waitlist)

Are you in need of food assistance for your children during Winter Break? Crisis Bread Basket, Barnabas Connection, and local churches are working together to deliver meal boxes for families so every child has adequate access to breakfast and lunch over the holiday break. Volunteers will deliver a week’s worth of breakfast and lunch on two Thursdays, December 21st and 28th. Registrants can request delivery for one or both dates. Register below or call 512-842-7593.

School Year Weekend Food Bags

The Fig Tree Outreach Program provides weekend food for Wimberley kids in need. Only one form is needed for all the children in your family, so please include information for each child on the form below. This information is kept confidential between The Fig Tree Outreach Program and WISD. Once your child is signed up, they will receive bags of food each week until they leave the school or until you no longer wish to participate.

Meal Deliveries for Seniors

Meals on Wheels delivers frozen meals on a weekly basis to qualifying seniors (65+) in the Wimberley area. Meals include sides and bread, with personal items available upon request. Apply to receive more information below.

Drive-Thru Distributions

Hays County Food Bank provides food at no cost to low-income households and those suffering from food emergencies due to job loss, medical emergencies, disasters, etc.

Weekly Food Distributions

Crisis Bread Basket is provides supplemental and emergency food aid to eligible residents in the Wimberley area through direct food disbursements. We are an all-volunteer team dedicated to ensuring food is always available to those in need through two weekly distributions on Tues/Thurs.

The Mercado Food Pantry

Amigos de Jesus volunteers distribute food, toiletries, and daily essentials to local families through “The Mercado” food pantry, providing spanish-speaking assistance to those in need each week on Monday and Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm.
