As summer comes to an end I just wanted to tell you how appreciative we are for the program you have provided and the work that has gone in to bringing food boxes for my kiddo. Nothing beats a good ole peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a glass of milk. From a single mom that must work more than full time to just keep the lights on, not having to worry about if my son has eaten at all during the day really makes an impact on the quality of both of our days. I'll never forget how excited my son was just to get bananas in that first box. Which is a hard reality for me because sometimes fruit is the last option when we're deciding what we can afford at the grocery store. Thank y'all for braving the heat, for taking time out of your summer to be there for others. It is impactful and appreciated.
