Summer Food Program for Students

Are you in need of food assistance this summer for your children? Barnabas Connection, Crisis Bread Basket, and local churches are working together to deliver weekly meal boxes for families so every child has adequate access to breakfast and lunch. Register below or call 512-842-9674.

Weekly Food Distributions

Crisis Bread Basket is provides supplemental and emergency food aid to eligible residents in the Wimberley area through direct food disbursements. We are an all-volunteer team dedicated to ensuring food is always available to those in need through two weekly distributions on Tues/Thurs.

School Year Weekend Food Boxes

The Fig Tree Outreach Program provides weekend food for Wimberley kids in need. Only one form is needed for all the children in your family, so please include information for each child on the form below. This information is kept confidential between The Fig Tree Outreach Program and WISD. Once your child is signed up, they will receive bags of food each week until they leave the school or until you no longer wish to participate.

The Mercado Food Pantry

Amigos de Jesus volunteers distribute food, toiletries, and daily essentials to local families through “The Mercado” food pantry, providing spanish-speaking assistance to those in need each week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Area Distributions

Hays County Food Bank provides food at no cost to low-income households and those suffering from some sort of food emergency due to job loss, medical emergencies, disasters, etc. Weekly distributions are available in San Marcos, Kyle, and Buda, but there are no geographical boundaries to service.
